"Ahahaha! Yes." Jane screamed. "Its over, the battle is finally over." She slammed her back to the wall and sunk to the floor. Her fingers were bruised, her hair a stringy mess. She couldn't remember the last time she'd slept or showered. Jane hadn't eaten a solid meal in thirty one days. Coffee was now a permanent part of her blood stream.

She cried. It was a joyful thing, to be done with it after all this time, but it left her longing. Something was missing and would be missing for eleven months. The people, challenge fueled adrenaline, the thrill of victory.

But the sweating and swearing and throwing things could stay away. Oh Jane would miss it for a while more, sure. Then it would sneak attack, jumping on her back and flinging her over to an office chair. It would steal her soul. Her knees would go weak and the tears would flow for days.

Another month of hell battling the ferocious Hydra would be upon her. Oh how she hated July.

Yes, its true. Flash Fiction Month 2015 is done. *pause for the celebration of dozens of sleep deprived writers*

I wasn't having any luck with the challenge so I just completely did my own thing. I won't miss freaking out over stories that are piling up but having something to do will be missed. :D

Congrats to all that finished. (And on time unlike me.)

Viva ya'll!
